Brighu Lake is a paradise on earth. Commonly known as the "pool of God", the lake attracts large number of visitors every year. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains from all the sides, the lake is situated at an elevation of 4,270 m above sea level with beautiful green grassland around. A per local folklores Rishi Bhrigu, a renowned sage of the Hindus, meditated at this place for a long period of time. It is also believed that many Gods of the Kullu valley took a holy dip in this pious lake, and that is why the lake is considered sacred by the Hindus and many devotees who usually comes in the month of August to take holy dip.

Detailed Itinerary


Day 01: Manali to Moridugh 7km trek (5-6 hours)

Morning time pick up from Manali & drive to Solang Nalah in local transportation. Its approximately 14.2kms from Manali & takes about 45 mins. From there we will start our trek, it takes 4-5 hours to reach Mori Dugh which is a scenic camp site with eye pleasing green meadows around. It’s our base camp which is situated at the elevated place of 2,744 mts. height.  & camp offers a magnificent view of the Dhauladhar Range. Dinner & Overnight stay at Camp



Day 02:- –Mori Dug to Bhrigu Lake (4,270 Mts.) and back to Camp at Mori dug 14km trek (8 hours)

On the second day, there’s a long trek ahead so we will start early. Have early breakfast & move along with packed lunches towards the lake.As we move  the trail passes throuh beautiful green meadows.During the summer months of April, May and early June these meadows are snow-covered.By mid-June lake is surrounded by lush green grass and flowers which makes it a captivating site. One can have a magnificient view of mountain ranges stretch in front which includes Dhauladhar, Pirpanjal, Chandra Bhaga Range and distant Spiti Range. After spending some good time & enjoying packed lunch, we will head down to Mori Dug base camp. Overnight stay at mori dug camp site.


Day -03:- Mori Dug to Solang Nallah to Manali (2-3 Hrs.)

Morning wake up, have breakfast. Post breakfast start descending towards Solang Nallah. We will have packed lunch on the way. It will take 2-3hrs. to reach at Solang Nallah. From Solang Nallah dropping at Manali with memorable & wonderful trekking experience.

Remarks

Things to carry along:-

Rucksack: This is the basic requirement for the trek. Keep in mind that the weight should not be more than 10 kg. 

Flashlight: Basic need in the night to watch things clearly.

Good Trekking Boots: To move easily in the tough treks. 

Two Trek Pants: Wear one pair and carry another one. 

Two Collared T-Shirts: Carry the light, full sleeved shirts to prevent sunburn. 

Thermals: Both bottom and top wear to wear at night against the protection of the cold. 

Sunglasses: To protect your eyes from sunlight.

Rain Coat: To prevent yourself from getting wet.

Warm Jackets: To retain your body temperature. 

Sunhat and warm Cap: To cover your head from sun or cold. 

Extra Pair of socks: For dealing with wetness.

Pair of Gloves: One piece of gloves to keep your hand safe from mosquito bites and warm in winter.

Water Bottle: To drink water during the trek. 

Sunscreen Lotion: To keep your skin protected from UV rays. 

Medicines: Take your medicines along with you prescribed by the doctor.

CONFIRMATION POLICY:

  • The participant needs to deposit a minimum of 50% of the amount at the time of booking.

  • The remaining amount should be deposited prior to the commencement of tour else the booking is liable to be canceled with no refund.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Date of booking to 30 days before travel the cancellation charges will be 10% of the tour cost.


  • 30 to 15 days before travel - cancellation charges will be 50% of the tour cost.


  • 15 to 7 days before travel - cancellation charges will be 75% of the tour cost.


  • 0 to 7 days before travel - cancellation charges will be 100% of the tour cost. No refund shall be given.

Please note cancellation policy is subject to change. It depends on company policy.

Terms & Conditions

  • No potters will be provided to carry the rucksack, You have to carry rucksack himself/herself. Weight of the bag should not be more than 10kg.


  • Kindly do not carry liquor & cigarettes during the trek.


  • We advise to examine yourself from a Doctor before coming to trekking.


  • It is advisable to be yourself fit prior to coming for the trek.


  • Trek is arranged considering normal weather. In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.) no  refund shall be payable.


  • Each participant is solely responsible for his/her belongings. Company shall not be responsible for any such loss.


  • Keep the trek clean & carry trash along with yourself. Dispose it off in dustbin as a responsible citizen.

  • It is mandatory for every participant to fill indemnity bond form against their participation in trekking programme.
